About Me

I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology from Tennessee State University and my Masters of Public Health from University of Alabama Birmingham. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts in Design for Social Innovation. I have tutored middle school and high school students for over 10 years. My tutoring subjects include Math, Science, and ACT prep. When I tutor, I like to get to know my students, understand their frustrations, and also set realistic goals. My favorite subject to tutor is math because I like to see students finally get it! Outside of tutoring, I love listening to music, reading, and traveling.
