I have a B.A. in English from Vassar College and an M.A. in Literature from NYU. My day job is at a big publishing house, and I really feel like I'm living the dream. I have worked as an editor, copywriter, and analyst, so I have a very practical understanding of the real-world benefits of reading and writing well. I love sharing my deep appreciation of literature and language with students. On the side, I am also a certified yoga instructor. I like to think that it keeps me flexible, both mentally and physically. I have experience tutoring students of all skill levels and ranging from 5th grade through college. My fields of expertise include test prep, writing, reading comprehension, French language, and grammar & mechanics. I think that every student benefits from a customized curriculum. Whether it is a problem of comprehension, poor time management, or just a lack of interest, I work with each student's particular challenges to help her/him perform as well as possible.
