I graduated this past May with a B.S. in Physics and minors in mathematics and astronomy from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. I am currently pursuing a M.S. in Data Analytics and Visualization from the Katz School at Yeshiva University in New York City, NY.I have experience tutoring math and physics for the past three years. Having struggled with math in high school and working up to a degree in physics, I am someone who has gone through the process of learning how to learn myself. I hope to encourage students to tap into their skills, mature their critical thinking, and heighten their creativity in problem solving using science and math.

Outside of school work I enjoying painting, reading, hiking, stargazing, and playing with my cat. I also love to be involved in STEM outreach. Since stargazing is harder to do in the city, I have been working on an astronomy podcast to stay engaged with the astronomy community.
