My experience with students includes internationally teaching english and health as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand, to helping US high school students prepare for the world of work. As an adjunct professor at a Community College, I taught many subjects including writing, critical thinking, psychology and study skills strategies. I greatly enjoy recognizing the potential in students and helping them strengthen their academic skills. I tutor reading, study skills, writing and composition. I believe life-long learning is necessary for an enriched and fulfilled journey. I facilitate creative and critical thinking during the process of learning.

My interests include beach-going, reading/writing, traveling, Zumba dancing, cooking and weather permitting shell-fishing.
