As a writing tutor and Composition and Literature professor at Wright College in Chicago for twelve years, I was dedicated to helping students at all stages of the writing process. I can help during the beginning stages when a writer may be confused about an assignment, all the way to the end when they need to polish an essay before submitting it, and all the moments in between. I cover a variety of topics and writing techniques, including thesis development, finding/citing sources, brainstorming, and proofreading for syntax, grammar, clarity, and tone. I have tutored students across the entire college curriculum, not just English: History, Biology, and even tech classes are well known to me. My educational background is a Master's degree from DePaul University in Writing and Publishing and a Bachelor's from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Creative Writing. I want to create the best learning experiences I possibly can, and that means listening to what my students need!

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy creative writing, playing video games, both old and new, and reading detective novels.
