As a dedicated educator with a Doctorate in History from the State University of New York at Albany, I have over 2 years of tutoring experience, complemented by more than 6 years in the classroom. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students are encouraged to think critically and connect historical events to contemporary issues. I am passionate about helping students develop a deep understanding of history, which not only enhances their academic performance but also cultivates informed citizens. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring historical sites and reading about different cultures, which enriches my perspective and informs my lessons.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy baking, reading, writing, and spending time with family.
