What is your teaching philosophy?

I like to use a very interactive, hands-on approach. I utilize flash cards and repetition, and for French I try to converse in the language as much as possible.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

I would first get to know the student, and what subjects they are struggling in. I would then try to understand the style their teacher is using, and create a plan to best match the way they learn.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

I plan to help teach them study strategies best suited to their learning style for their own future use.
