I am not present. While I will provide help along the way, guiding a student to build up his/her own skills to be able to understand these questions on his/her own and feel confident while taking tests is my ultimate goal.

I am a graduate of Rockhurst University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in English Literature. Upon graduating, I became certified to teach both elementary education (grades 1-6) and English Language Arts (grades 5-9) in the state of Missouri. I have spent the past two years teaching seventh grade reading and writing, and I have loved every minute of it! Not only do I love helping my students understand new concepts in my subject areas, but I also really enjoy sharing literature, both classics and new fiction, with them in hopes it will foster a love of reading. I believe in the power of literature to spark critical thinking and help students make meaningful connections to their lives and the lives of others. It may come as no surprise that one of my chief hobbies is reading; I try to read fifty new novels every year, many of which I can then recommend to my students! I tutor a broad range of subjects, most notably English, Literature, and ACT/SAT Test Preparations, but regardless of what I am tutoring, my teaching philosophy and style stems from building relationships with my students. While I have a great innate desire to help the next generation learn and succeed, I realize that the first step to doing so is getting to know my students and their individual needs. Only then can I create truly meaningful, relevant, and applicable lessons and tutoring sessions that will help them learn and grow. My passion is to help students realize their potential as life-long learners and help them succeed as they navigate their educational paths.

I am an undergraduate at Washington University, and I grew up in Columbus, Ohio. Math has always been one of my favorite subjects. I love Pre-algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra and everything in between! I have tutored for about four years and have worked with students of all ages. Most students come to me for Math, but I have also worked with students on SAT and ACT test prep, Statistics and Physics. Everyone learns in a slightly different way, and I love figuring out the best way to teach something to people individually and dig down to what questions they really need to have answered to understand the material. In my spare time, I like to go on long bike rides and explore St. Louis's restaurants. I also love baking, playing with dogs and cats, watching movies with my friends and playing soccer.

Hola! Mucho gusto! I am a Spanish and Biology tutor with more than three years of tutoring experience currently living in Panama City, Panama. I teach beginner and intermediate Spanish, focusing on developing conversational and grammatical skills in a variety of real-life contexts. I enjoy developing personalized lessons to match each student's needs. My goal is for my students to be able to face any Spanish-related challenge with confidence, so I teach a wide variety of topics to help my students gain practical experience speaking Spanish. I graduated from Harding University with my degree in Biochemistry in May of 2026. I love biology and have experience tutoring a variety of high school and college biology classes. My research focus is on the role of microglial cells in neurodegenerative diseases. On a personal note, I spend much of my free time making art, traveling, and spending time with my family.

I am an experienced educator with a strong background in both the sciences and languages. I earned my bachelor's degree from Boston University, double-majoring in Biology (with a focus on ecology and conservation biology) and Hispanic Language and Literatures. I also hold a Master of Arts in Teaching in the Biological Sciences from Miami University. For over a decade, I was an international educator in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I taught English as a second language to students of all ages and led the natural sciences department for a large bilingual elementary school. I now teach middle school science at a private school in the U.S. I tutor a wide range of subjects, and I am passionate about helping students gain confidence in areas where they've struggled. I love seeing students begin to enjoy subjects they once found too difficult or tedious. My goal is to provide patient, personalized support that helps every learner recognize their strengths and build lasting academic skills.

As a current Political Science student at the University of Michigan, I am passionate about empowering students to achieve their academic goals through tailored tutoring in subjects like Public Speaking, Algebra, AP English, and U.S. Government. With over 2 years of tutoring experience, I focus on creating a supportive learning environment that encourages open communication and critical thinking. I am a graduate of the University of Chicago where I received my undergraduate degree in political science. Right after graduation, I worked as an academic and test prep tutor as well as admissions consultant in Hong Kong. For the past two years, I worked with a number of students to help prepare them for college in the United States.

I am a rising sophomore at Cornell University, studying Human Biology, Health and Society. I am on the premed track and am pursuing a minor in South Asian Studies. I was born in India and grew up in Singapore and Buffalo, NY, where I currently live. This past semester, I tutored middle and high school students in math, biology, and chemistry in Ithaca. I also particularly enjoy tutoring for standardized tests such as the ACT, as I feel it is where students are able to make a lot of progress quickly, and it also tends to be the most rewarding for both the students and for me! As someone who loves making organized and detailed plans, I believe having a clear set of goals for one's future is the key to success, and this can be applied to anything, from a single test to one's entire career. I would love to help my students with setting goals and making plans in their high school and/or college careers, in addition to tutoring a specific subject! In college, I am most involved with Cornell's Hindu Student Council and SPICMACAY, an Indian classical music and dance organization. Outside of academia, I sing South Indian classical music and play many different genres of the piano.

I am currently attending New York University where I am pursuing a degree in Finance and Statistics. I have previous experience tutoring individuals in math, a subject I have always excelled at academically. My knowledge and interest in mathematics, makes it easy for me to frame and deconstruct seemingly complicated concepts and theories in ways students will be able to understand and remember. Outside of academia I enjoy playing tennis, going to movies, and spending time with friends and family.

I am a Yale graduate with over 8 years experience tutoring students from a variety of backgrounds. I recently graduated from the Yale School of Public Health with a MPH concentrating in Epidemiology and Global Health. I also received my B.S. from Yale with a double major in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and French. I have experience both leading group classes and working with students one on one. I am a recent college graduate currently pursuing a career in publishing in New York City. My interest in tutoring and the publishing industry stem from the same source: I want to help instill in others the same love of learning I have felt throughout my life. Whether it's getting lost in a good book or feeling the thrill of excitement at finally solving a difficult math problem, I feel that learning should be fun and viewed as a challenge, not a chore. I am a graduate of Columbia University with a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts. I taught math and essay writing to my peers in high school and college, and have tutored a close friend in her mathematics courses since junior year of high school. I am most comfortable and passionate about tutoring SAT prep, particularly the Math section and subject tests. I believe in supporting and encouraging my students and making material as accessible as possible, breaking down what may be difficult subject matter into terms and concepts that they already understand. I'm a college student attending the University of Michigan and I'm majoring in chemistry and computer science. I have two years of extensive experience tutoring high schoolers in chemistry and all subjects of the SAT and ACT. I can also say that I understand completely how difficult the process of test prep and high school chemistry can be because I recently survived the whole process myself having taken IB chem and the ACT/SAT in the last 1-2 years and studying and prepping extensively for them. That being said, I'm always super eager not just to tutor students in those subjects, but also to offer the best advice and guidance I can in tackling those challenges as a high schooler and as someone planning for college. I believe it's super important as a tutor not just to spoon-feed answers but to teach how to problem-solve, so I take care to solidify our understanding of the methods to approach a problem. I am a lifelong learner, teacher, and researcher in the field of physics. I received a PhD in Physics from the University of Michigan and a BS in Physics from Rice University. I have four years of physics teaching experience at the University of Michigan, primarily undergraduate laboratory courses with an emphasis on electromagnetism, circuits, waves, optics, and real-world applications of these and other physical phenomena. Many of these courses, including one I helped design, focused on helping non-STEM students master physics concepts that may be difficult to grasp in a standard classroom setting. I have tutored in a variety of subjects since high school, but most recently I have spent several years helping students understand concepts and succeed in coursework throughout a large variety of college-level physics topics, from basic mechanics to advanced electrodynamics and special relativity.

I'm Anna! I'm currently a student in the MD/MBA program between Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and the Kellogg School of Management, and graduated from Northwestern University as part of the Honors Program in Medical Education. I attended the Bergen County Academies in New Jersey, a selective, application-based magnet school, for high school.

I am a current medical student at Columbia University, and an alumna of the University of Chicago, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Bachelor of Arts in Romance Languages & Literatures. I am extremely passionate about tutoring, and I have several years of experience tutoring students in my high school's learning center, tutoring private clients in Standardized Test preparation, and tutoring through my medical school. While I have a wide range of interests and am able to tutor various subjects, I am most passionate about tutoring in Standardized Test preparation, Biology, Chemistry, Math, English, and Spanish.
