I'm a motivated and enthusiastic engineer with a drive to always continue learning, share knowledge with others and inspire.

I am most comfortable teaching the SAT Reading/Writing and helping youths with their personal statements. Furthermore, my one-year experience as an AmeriCorps VISTA for PeaceJam Foundation – an award-winning organization that promotes service learning and peacekeeping through the combined efforts of Nobel Peace Laureates and young people – has instilled in me a deep reverence and hope for our youths today. I strongly believe in our youths’ limitless potential to pursue their dreams and become agents of positive social change and know I will be an excellent mentor/coach through their journey.

I am a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon University with a dual degree in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. I have several years of tutoring experience in math, English, and broad sciences for kindergarten to high schoolers. Additionally, I have tutored several students for the SAT and ACT who have had favorable results. I truly enjoy working with school students to help them further their education and have made it a part of my routine since highschool.

I am a student at the Honors College of Rutgers - New Brunswick. I am currently working towards attaining a B.S. in Biochemistry, as well as a minor in Business and Administration. Over the last five years, I have reconciled my passion for teaching and my desire to interact with fellow students through tutoring. While I have tutored in a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about science, math, and English. Having taught many students, each of whom were different in terms of personality and learning style, I understand the importance of tailoring the lesson to the student's strengths. As a result, I work to create unique, individualized learning plans that engage the student and make learning feel like an opportunity, rather than a chore.

I am a senior studying Physics and Math at the University of Texas at Dallas. I will receive a Bachelor's of Science in Physics in 2016. For years, helping people learn to approach problems and concepts in Math and Physics has been very satisfying to me. Finding the simplest way to think about an initially daunting idea or task and assisting others in recognizing the necessary reasoning process is a great experience. I tutor primarily Physics and Math, with a preference for Calculus because of the fact that the concepts of Calculus lend themselves so naturally to intuitive physical interpretations and analogies. I am also able to help with SAT preparation. My main hobbies include reading, playing strategy games, and watching basketball.

I'm a Sophomore enrolled in TCNJ's 7 Year Medical Program. I have prior experience in tutoring from helping previous clients within SAT Math. I am also available to tutor in SAT Prep and writing. I am very passionate about helping students of all backgrounds realize their dreams and become more passionate and confident about their academics. I am pursuing a career in dentistry/oral surgery and will be beginning dental school at Boston University this fall. For this reason I recently took the DAT, which I am capable of assisting you with as well. During my undergraduate education, which I completed this past December, I worked in my school's tutoring center, helping my peers succeed in mathematics and science courses. Outside of my academic life, I am a big sports fan and I mostly follow the New York sports teams. For fun, I like to play basketball and golf with my friends. I am an undergraduate studying Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania.

I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. I am majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Political Science, and I am working down the pre-med track. I have experience teaching, as I am currently a teaching assistant for General Chemistry at Pitt and I have also tutored with Kumon Learning in the past. The areas that I am most passionate about tutoring are SAT prep and college-level courses. This is because I know how stressful these two can be to students. My goal is to try and alleviate some of that stress and make you feel prepared and confident for taking the SAT and passing college courses with flying colors. My belief is that for a person to live a rich life, they should be constantly learning about something new. It helps keeps your mind sharp throughout life, and helps you appreciate the world around you. This is a belief that I try to stress to everyone around me, including my students. In terms of my tutoring style, I try to build a rigid lesson plan for my students that will prepare them, but at the same time, not overwhelm them. I have found that organization and having a plan are keys to success in education.

I am passionate about education, learning, teaching, and specifically literatures and languages. I have experience as an ESL teacher for young children and teens, as well as experience working as a Writing Consultant at my undergraduate institution. I also spent all four years of my undergraduate career volunteering as an SAT tutor for local high schoolers. Beyond this, I have experience both as a private and public Spanish tutor. I love to help students reach their educational and personal goals in any way that I can.
