About Me
It's my goal to have that effect on the students I tutor. I graduated from the University of New Haven with a dual BS in premedical biology and forensic biology with a minor in chemistry. While I was there, I worked as a teaching assistant for the chemistry department; I prepared solutions and answered an ocean of questions about laboratory technique and chemistry in general. I love math and science in general, but my favorite subjects to teach out of the whole bunch are biology (middle school through MCAT biology and college microbiology) and physics. Math and science are among the most daunting subjects for many students, but they're the most intuitive subjects at their core. Using a show-don't-tell approach to tutoring, I guide my students and give them the tools they need to discover first-hand the intuitiveness of these subjects. My hobbies include reading, slacklining (do a quick Google search, it's pretty awesome), bicycling, running, playing video games, and powerhousing entire tv series on Netflix.
