About Me
I am a graduate of Brigham Young University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with an emphasis in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic. After graduating, I worked on a U.S. Senate campaign, then interned at a think tank and congressional office in Washington, DC. While at the think tank, I co-authored an article that was published in US News and World Report. I am currently pursuing my juris doctorate (JD) at the University of Georgia School of Law. While an undergraduate, I was a teaching assistant for a political writing and research course and an Islamic studies course. As part of this, I did extensive proofreading and editing of student papers and taught weekly lectures on writing skills and current events. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about reading and writing, SAT prep, and history. I really believe that asking thought-provoking questions is essential for effective teaching. In my spare time I enjoy biking, running, working out at the gym, and reading.
