I feel lucky to have taught all over the world for the last decade. I am a certified General Education and Special Education Teacher for grades K-6 and have spent the last three years teaching in the public school system of Manhattan, New York. Prior to that, I taught math and English at a Private school and was honored to be the resident musical director for a children's theater company on the Upper West side. This summer, my husband and I moved to Oregon where we currently reside with our dog, Nina. Teaching is my passion and I am grateful every day for the ability to do so! I believe in multiple-sensory education and using many routes toward the same goal. I use a process which relies on questioning and independent learning methods so my students reach the 'answer' in a way that is easily memorable and something they can take ownership of and be proud of!
