I work every day to refine my craft. But, in order to do that, I had to discover my best learning method. During my years at Carnegie Mellon University, where I graduated with honors with a bachelors in English and a bachelors in Music, I worked as an after school tutor in the Pittsburgh area, helping students with difficult subjects. I discovered that it was less the student's inability to learn but rather the way a subject was presented. I continued my education at Manhattan School of Music, receiving my masters in Music. In my experience, every student has the ability to learn a subject, it is only a matter of discovering which learning method works best for them.
