As you work towards earning your Chartered Financial Analyst credentials, consider contacting Varsity Tutors to enroll in an Albuquerque CFA course. CFA stands for Chartered Financial Analyst. This is a credential awarded by the CFA Institute to individuals who have completed a series of requirements. In addition to having four years of professional experience in a full time job, or a bachelor's degree, you must also pass a series of three CFA Program exams. More than 150,000 people around the world have earned their CFA credentials. To join this group, consider an Albuquerque CFA prep course.

What can an Albuquerque CFA class cover?

*The curriculum of the CFA exam is updated every exam cycle, but the CFA Program exam focuses on the same 10 topic areas. Some of these areas are ethical and professional standards, economics, corporate finance, equity investments, and derivatives. The CFA exam is broken down into three Levels. Heading into this test, you should know that there are two sessions on Level One of the CFA exam. The morning session of Level I is three hours long and asks test-takers to complete 120 multiple choice questions that cover all topics. The afternoon session is the same. Two basic question formats are used in Level I: sentence completion with three unique choices, and questions with three unique choices.

Next is Level II. In order to sit for the Level II CFA exam, you must have passed Level I and earned your bachelor's degree. Level II includes two item sets. The first set is 18 vignettes, or case statements, with six questions each. The second set is three vignettes with four questions each. In the morning, you will take 10 item set questions, and, in the afternoon, you will take 11 item set questions.

In order to take the Level III exam, you must pass the Level II exam of the CFA examination process. Level III is split into a morning session and an afternoon session. In the morning, students will complete eight to 12 constructed response, or essay, questions. The maximum amount of points someone can earn on this section is 180. During the afternoon section, students are asked 11 item set questions, including eight vignettes with six questions each, and three vignettes with four questions each.

No matter which level of your CFA examination process you are at, an Albuquerque CFA class can help you work towards your goals. Each class is lead by a skilled and professional instructor who has a firm knowledge of the CFA exams and their contents. Your instructor also understands how to help students of varying skill levels and learning styles. Your instructor can even try alternative educational methods to help you learn in a way that is most effective for you. During your CFA classes, feel comfortable asking your instructor questions. You can receive replies in real time, which are quick and relevant to the class discussion. Not only can this help you learn, but this can also help your peers, who are enrolled in the same class, learn. You can communicate with your instructor, but you can talk to these peers as well. Enjoy the communicative and collaborative environment of an Albuquerque CFA class.
