I have extensive experience in tutoring and have had my own private tutoring business since I was in high school. I started out by working with students in high school, helping them with homework and SAT Test Prep. I expanded my clientele to middle and elementary school student in 11th grade and started working with local students. Soon after, I joined Varsity. The most important part of tutoring students is working on their level. I believe every student has great potential and there are certain techniques I have learned through experience to harness that potential. In high school, I was an active member of the Debate Team which taught me how to lead and assist my younger peers. Although I tutor a broad range of subjects, I have seen most advancement in my students in the subjects of English/Language Arts and Math. Whether it is SAT Test Prep for Critical Reading and Math or it is AP English or AP Calc homework from school. My personal hobbies include reading, writing and slam poetry. I am currently working on a novella, which I hope to publish soon. I am also a member of the National DFW Slam Poetry Team. I fully believe that an investment in education is an investment in your child's future.
