Since I have been a tutor for 6 years, I have learned to communicate and explain information based on the student learning style in various subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Math and Spanish. Learning does not have to be complicated and boring but it can be fun and full of colors. I was born in the Dominican Republic where I went to school up to 4th grade. When I came to the United States I continue to take Spanish classes so that I would not loose my language. In college I minored in Spanish. I have been tutored Algebra1 and 2 and trigonometry for 4 years. I have even tutored college math. I tutored college chemistry and high school chemistry, living environment and Spanish. During high school I tutored my peers at the Information Technology High School and also worked as a private tutor & babysitter. At the State University of New York at Oswego I worked as a tutor for 4 years in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Math and Spanish. After I graduated college I continued tutoring middle school and elementary students at Figure skating in Harlem after school program. A year later I received the opportunity to a full-time position as a health promotion specialist for Concrete Safaris after school program where I also tutored elementary and middle school students. I graduated from SUNY Oswego with a Bachelors degree in wellness management and a minor in Spanish. I am passionate about helping others and about education, the best way to combine these two passion is thru tutoring. I have been tutoring for 5 years, I have learned to communicate and explain information based on the student learning style in various subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Math and Spanish, Algebra 1 and 2 and trigonometry. I have tutor college math, college chemistry and high school chemistry, living environment and Spanish. I look forward to helping more students.
