I believe it's important to make lessons interesting and engaging! I graduated from Ithaca College with degrees in English Literature and Spanish, and went on to teach English abroad in South America: first in Colombia, then in Brazil through a Fulbright grant. Literature, foreign languages, and social studies are my specialties, but I'm comfortable in all subject areas. I'm an encouraging and warm presence in the classroom, and get to know the needs of the students I work with so that we can strive to meet their goals together. Outside the classroom I read and write, practice yoga and pottery, and love being with friends and family. I hope to have the chance to work with you!
