Tutoring review by Benjamin in Coolidge, AZ
We started by getting the student's papers organized. Then, we talked about some of his missing work for government, made some goals and talked realistically about the kind of hard work that it was going to take to get there. After that, we spent most of our time coming up with an outline for the essay he has due tomorrow. Finally, we finished up by coming up with some similar goals for chemistry and making a plan for how he's going to work 3 hours a night on homework.

Tutoring review by Matthew in Coolidge, AZ
The student had a test this past week. He did outstanding on most of the problems, but mixed up a few concepts. In preparation for his next test, we reviewed the inverse and multiplicative inverse of trigonometric functions, which gave him the most trouble on his last test. We focused mostly on tangent and how to simplify complex tangent functions into simpler trig functions. After breaking down the relationship between tangent, cosine and sine, he had a very good understanding of the material. We went over a number of steps from his problem set, and he quickly worked out the answers with relative ease. He said he feels much more confident with the material. I believe he will perform in outstanding fashion on his next exam.

Tutoring review by Belinda in Coolidge, AZ
Both students did a great job on Wednesday. Student S was focusing mostly on her math and doing reading comprehension questions on the book her class is currently reading. One thing that I believe will help her was that most of the questions she asked could help be to have a dictionary close at hand that she can reference easily. I was impressed by Student N's cursive and his focus to catch up on his missing work.
