Why choose Varsity Tutors for tutoring in Naperville?

Our precision-based matching process, which is our proprietary system, will guarantee that you will be connected with an instructor who is right for you. Our Educational Directors are here to assist you.

Your tutor can use a personalized lesson plan that is customized for your needs, although they also have the liberty to adapt it based on the progress you make and slow it down if you need more time. The kind of flexibility and customization you can get from 1-on-1 instruction can go a long way in helping you feel more confident about your studies. Private instruction can give your student a chance to keep their knowledge up-to-date during the long summer vacation, too.

Tutoring for students in Naperville isn't only for reviewing course material. If you feel like you are too disorganized, and that it is harming your studies, your personal instructor can teach you tips for organizing your notebook or folder. Face-to-face instruction can help your student improve their interpersonal relationship skills. As you can see, while studies suggest that students who learn with private instructors tend to receive superior grades, the benefits of 1-on-1 instruction extend beyond that. If your student is a curious learner and doesn't find their school studies challenging enough, their personal instructor can help them examine a math or science topic in further detail. Their instructor can recommend YouTube videos or books they can take out from the library to enrich their knowledge further. To get started with personal instruction, get in touch with Varsity Tutors now.

Tutoring review by Rachel in Naperville, IL
The student and I briefly discussed her test on chapters 4-5 since her professor went over the test in class. After that I gave her a quiz on the properties of the normal distribution and the standard normal distribution, and we went over the correct answers together. I also gave her flashcards with certain concepts and their definitions (e.g. independent variable, complement of an event), and told her I would quiz her over them at our next session. Finally, we began her homework for section 6.1, and practiced translating z-scores into percentiles and vice versa.
