Tutoring review by Zara in Wilkinsburg, PA
The student and I reviewed various concepts related to circles and figuring out the measures of angles. She was familiar with some of the concepts, but we reviewed them further. She will need to use the book and do many practice problems to solidify her knowledge. We spent time going over a previous exam and reviewing the questions she got wrong. I gave her a workbook to go over some basic math to see where her weaknesses lie. She has some trouble with basic algebra, such as factoring equations and simplifying complex fractions, but with guidance to understand what needs to be done. We will need to review and practice these concepts more in future lessons.

Today we prepared for the student's PreCalc exam on Monday. She was having some issues with imaginary numbers and roots, and wanted to go over the material. We finished her review packet, and she felt that she understood the material much better. We then went over some physics, namely, Newton's 3rd law, and a mixed packet of all 3 laws.

Tutoring review by Douglas in Wilkinsburg, PA
The student has now encountered the algebraic equation and he needed help to understand the concepts. We went over many problems and I had him practice different types of scenarios as well as a variety of problems. He is a student that learns from excessive examples. I would now confidently say that he has a strong grasp of the topic at hand. I assigned him some reinforcement homework to confirm his understanding.
