Today, the student and I created his poster-style slide in PowerPoint, and we managed to get the entire thing done in the 2 hours we had available! The student was very pleased with the slide layout and proportions, and we summarized the information from his qualitative research study effectively. We will have 2 additional meetings, one to go over any poster revisions his professor wants (and so Dan can practice his presentation on me), and one to do APA-style revisions on his term paper.

She spent the entire session finishing a brochure on India. The student rewrote her notes, and completed two of the five sections before I arrived. She then worked on the remaining three. We researched each topic, using both her notes and additional sources. Then she decided the facts she wanted to include, and wrote on the final draft. She also found some photos to include.

He missed significantly less of the multiple choice questions than he had before, so he is improving there with our work on improving his reading guides. Today we went over study methods for the people and events.
