I am a recent graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a minor in Business Administration. I enjoy working with students and introducing them to beginning engineering concepts. Without such an influence in my life,I would have never discovered engineering. I have spent every summer for last nine years volunteering for youth camps and working with children ages 8-14.
My passion lies in math and its importance in our daily lives. One of the major road bumps that students face is realizing when to ask for help. In my early years of college I realized this to be true. In mathematics especially, students tend to get frustrated and give up. I feel it is important to present mathematical concepts in a different ways, appealing to each student's individual learning style. I am excited to work with students and help them accomplish their academic goals!
