Certified Tutor

I am a doctoral student at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. I completed my undergraduate study at The Ohio State University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and minor in General Business. I have tutored friends, classmates, and coworkers all throughout high school and college, ranging from answering simple homework or study questions to having weekly regular sessions.

I tutor a broad range of subjects, including math (through calculus level), sciences (general life sciences, chemistry (general, organic, physical), biology (including microbiology), biochemistry, anatomy and physiology), ACT test prep (all subjects), and PCAT test prep.

While I enjoy helping students in all areas, my favorite subjects to tutor are math and chemistry, as there's so much room for growth of understanding in these subjects that many students dread. I make it a personal goal of mine to have the student enjoy the subject by the end of our sessions, as I believe it makes a more fun and challenging environment for us both. While tutoring, I love to get to know students and make a personalized plan of study, and I try to relate the material to students' interests and experiences as much as possible to ensure engagement and enjoyable learning progress. My sessions are interactive, goal-oriented, and thorough. I tend to challenge students, simply because I enjoy watching them succeed!

In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, playing and watching sports, baking, and reading. I hope I can share my passion for learning with you to meet your needs!
