Certified Tutor

I am a University of Iowa graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing. While at UI, I tutored fellow students in Writing and developed a passion for helping others to channel their strengths in areas where they may not yet excel. I have also worked heavily with ELL students on both academic and cultural understanding, and continue to enjoy working with students of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and ages. Every student learns differently, and as a tutor, I create a positive, comfortable learning environment and address students' needs based on their personalities and individual learning styles. Within the next couple of years, I am planning to pursue a masters or doctorate degree in Anthropology with a focus on Social Institutions. I look forward to working with you!
