Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a focus on Spanish Education K-12. Since graduation, I have mainly been traveling and working in Europe, teaching English as a Foreign Language Teacher in Madrid, Spain for 3 years. I am a certified ESL instructor. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Spanish. I am fluent in the language and have loved it since my first Spanish I class in 8th grade. In my experience, I've learned that all students learn differently and helping struggling students understand a lesson means being patient and open to different methods of instruction. As an educator, my passion is to help all students understand and feel they can succeed by exercising this teaching style. I believe that a well-rounded education is paramount for a full and successful life and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, painting, drawing, yoga, running, and playing with my puppy Ellie.
