I graduated from College of Insurance at St. John's University with a Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science and have worked in the corporate environment holding actuary positions in well-known reinsurance/insurance companies such as Reliance, Platinum and Everest. During this time, I have also become a Mom and realized the importance of one-on-one education in order to give students an edge and prepare them for the challenges of today's world. My goal is to share my strong background in math with the students who struggle with the subject and I believe that having the right approach to teaching them will make a big difference. Math provides a great foundation for many careers and is an excellent way to develop child' logical and problem-solving abilities. My teaching philosophy is based on understanding exactly what areas the student needs most help with and then designing an innovative, individualized approach to help them tackle problems.
