Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and Maryville University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education from Mizzou and my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership at Maryville. I am currently seeking my Doctorate in Education Administration for Maryville University as well. I hold career certifications in 9-12 English and K-12 Reading. I have been tutoring for over fifteen years, specifically in English, literature, reading, beginning Spanish, and history. I have worked in the public school system for ten years, teaching English and coaching teachers in English, social studies, foreign language, related arts, career and technical education, and special education departments. For the past seven years, I have also coached for the Urban Debate League as a Policy Debate coach, and have sent my students to national competition three years in a row. I am deeply passionate about education and love working with students of all ages. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, watching sports, and traveling.
