Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a double major in English and Religious Studies. For the past year I have been a volunteer tutor at Sumner Library in Minneapolis where I help students with English, Math, and subjects in the humanities and social sciences. In the past I was the leader of an ESL reading circle through the Open Door Learning Center. I was also a private tutor for two elementary aged girls, one of whom was visually impaired and needed my assistance with learning Braille. My future goals are to pursue graduate studies related to literacy and education in the hopes of one day becoming a professor of English Literature. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with Varsity Tutors and hope that we will be in touch before long!
