Certified Tutor

I was a University paid peer tutor for college level students. I tutored Math and Physics with difficulties ranging from basic math to 2nd year calculus.

I think the reason my students consistently favor my approach to math and especially physics is my use of practical and physical analogies that make the material easier to relate to, and thus, understand. I like to break the material into bits and cast it in terms of familiar experiences and existing knowledge. From here, it becomes easier for students to build up an understanding of the present subject and to use those problem solving skills in the future.
