I hope to attend medical school some day. I grew up in New York and have always been into sports and movies. I played football and rugby in high school. I have continued to play rugby throughout college and graduate school.
I attended Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania where I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in the Health Sciences major. Additionally, I have since received my Master's degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. I specialize in science and math, particularly biology and physiology. I am also very familiar with the MCAT.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I think it is important to be flexible to the needs of the student. I like to break complex ideas down into simple form in order to make them more digestible.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
First, I would get to know the student. I'd attempt to see what their strengths and weaknesses are and find what learning style is best for them.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By not just presenting information, but allowing them to figure out things for themselves and think through the information.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
I find it best to make things simple. Use simple language and present the idea in the form of something more familiar.
