My mission in life has always been dedicated to serving others. Whether professionally or personally, I have always had the desire to see and help others grow and help them reach their goals in life. Working as a professional educator for 11 years has given me the opportunity to touch many lives and make an important impact on children and their futures. I absolutely enjoy being a teacher and sharing my love for education with students and their families. I have made a commitment to being a life long learner and sharing my knowledge with students. I have found that building relationships, evaluating individual needs and applying focused planning enhances the learning experience. I am passionate about seeing each student performing at their highest level and beyond. I have many years of experience working with students with mild to severe learning disabilities and needs, therefore I am highly skilled in differentiated instructional methods.I enjoy providing tutoring services because it gives me the opportunity to work one on one with the student, helping to build their confidence and strengthen their skill sets.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling and writing. I also enjoy sharing my traveling experiences with my students or suggesting a great book for them to read. This encourages my students to become life long learners as well. When we strive to to become life long learners, the possibilities are endless and that is something that I wish to instill with every student that I teach.
