I have been teaching math in both private and public schools for about 10 years. I am certified in in three states: NY, NC, and SC. I also have significant tutoring experience-- not just in math, but in other subjects such as the SAT verbal sections. I particularly enjoy working with students one-on-one because I can dedicate all my attention and energy in getting to know them, figuring out what makes them "tick," and catering to their individual needs. It's really satisfying when my student leaves a session nailing concepts and skills that he or she previously found confusing. It's a win-win situation!
