Certified Tutor

I am a dedicated teacher looking to help your math student succeed! I have been tutoring for about 4 years now and I am always exploring different options and strategies to ensure the growth and success of students in math.

A little background about me:
I have two Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Mathematics and Actuarial Science. I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2018 and am currently 24 years old. My original intent with these degrees was to go into actuarial practices within insurance companies; however, I have come to find that tutoring and teaching is my passion and much more exciting. I started tutoring during my sophomore year of college in the mathematics learning center where I helped college students to succeed in subjects like College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus (Levels I, II, and III), and Probability and Statistics. I have also worked for Sylvan Learning Center of Ballwin, MO. At Sylvan I worked with students ranging from Elementary to College level in a variety of different subject areas of math.

Aside from tutoring, I enjoy the outdoors, the cold weather, hanging out with friends, and of course furthering my own studies and tutoring strategies. I am mostly just looking to tutor in the online platform but I may look into in-person opportunities within a 10-mile radius.
