I strongly believe that the pillars of a good education are discipline, the ability to transfer learned information to the real world and the formation of self-motivated people to learn new things.

First, discipline is achieved by providing the example. A disciplined teacher will have a disciplined class. Parents who are always on time are teaching their children that punctuality is important. Discipline is vital to be successful because it focuses our talents to the things that really matter. For example, a person who is good at running can only be competitive if he invests time and effort in training. The same can be said for education. Students need to learn discipline at school and home to learn how to manage their time and to have their work done which would lead to a better learning.

Second, the ability to transfer learned information to the real world gives relevance to what is learned at school. If the teacher can connect the knowledge that students acquire in the classroom, and shows them how useful this knowledge is outside the classroom; undoubtedly, students would be more curious and more stimulated to pay attention in class.

Third, motivation is a key part of to become successful students. To achieve this, it is necessary to establish goals for students according to their level. By accomplishing those objectives, they will feel accomplished and a new goal can be set and that cycle can continue repeatedly. Teachers must be open to new ideas and show the students that one can learn something new every day.

I believe that together, my students and I, can work developing and improving these components so they can reach their goals.
