Certified Tutor

My background in psychology, speech pathology, and special education has made me skillful in teaching students with disabilities, learning difficulties, and otherwise exceptional learners. I am certified in all primary core subjects from early childhood up to sixth grade. I am also certified in special education from early childhood up to 12th grade. At this time, I am a bilingual teacher in a Life Skills special education classroom. I hold a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education.
My knowledge of instructional strategies, education, and experience have made me highly competent in teaching. Most importantly, I've been able build positive and collaborative relationships with parents, families, and fellow teachers/staff in order to help our students succeed.
I am committed to the academic, social, and functional development of all students. I would love and appreciate the opportunity to share this commitment with the students at Varsity Tutors.
