I would like to give you a little background about myself.

I am a graduate of St. John Fisher College with a B.A. in political science and a minor in history.

My passion is studying the art of leadership in the areas of history, politics, business and finance. I have always been curious about how our lives are impacted by great events and leaders of the past.

Why study the art of historical leadership? George Santayana famously said: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

A little-known fact about me is that I am on the front cover of Soviet Life magazine (March 1977). That came about because I represented the National Council of YMCAs at an American/Soviet youth culture conference held in Kiev, U.S.S.R. It was an eye-opening experience meeting soviet delegates and finding out that we had much in common despite our ideological differences.

I also have a M.S. degree from the College for Financial Planning and a certificate in Executive Leadership: Preparing for an Uncertain Future from Cornell University.

My career has been in the financial advisory business helping people grow their personal wealth and helping entrepreneurs succeed.

It has been said that people are divided into three groups: Those who make things happen; those who watch things happen; and, those who wonder what the hell happened!!?? My job as your tutor, is to put you on the path to being in the first group, not the last.
