I am a graduate student at the University of Denver specializing in reading and writing skills. I possess a number of skills that assist me in tutoring in reading, reading comprehension, reading critical thinking, response essay, research essay, nonfiction and creative writing skills including: accreditation and certification from the University of Denver and other institutions; tutor-specific training and experience apart from Varsity Tutors-specific instruction, and an extensive portfolio of professional experience including related to the publishing industry and the education fields.

I particularly specialize in essay and academic writing from kindergarten through graduate studies; creative writing in various popular genres for all ages, and reading skills from basic reading ability to advanced reading comprehension and improvement. I have developed a rigorous program and skills set that allows me to improve the reading skills and comprehension of most children in a fun and entertaining way that will not seem at all rigorous to your child but instead help your child appreciate the value of both learning through and being entertained by all types and genres of literature.
