As a tutor, I try to provide an engaging and effective learning experience for students where the content will not only be mastered and understood, but applied in daily life. My experience as a teacher of both kids and adults has afforded me the ability to be versatile in my teaching approach and techniques.

My time as a public school teacher allowed me to developed and deliver lessons for all subject areas, monitor student progress by managing student data, grades, and other information for planning and implementation of instruction and assessment, and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and district personnel to facilitate student success. All the while, I maintained and exceeded requirements of participating in on-going professional development seminars. It was during that time that I was awarded Teacher of the Year.

I am organized, a strong and effective communicator, manage time well, and a highly interpersonal and relational individual.
