Retired senior historian from the American Institute of physics. I hold a BS in physics with minors in English and math, a masters in history and philosophy of science, a masters of Jurisprudence in international trade law with a focus on Asian legal systems and a PhD in history. I have taught ethics at community college, US and World history as well as upper division university level history courses including pre and post Civil war American history, Progressive Era American business history,and modern Chinese history in the global environment.
My hobbies include photography, reading and writing, visiting museums and historic sites and gardening. I'm particularly interested in history of science/technology and I am currently writing a book on history of household technologies.
