Certified Tutor

I am a sophomore at Tufts University majoring in Biology and English with a minor in Judaic Studies. I have experience tutoring Latin for a middle school student as a member of the Quintilian Society at my high school, chemistry for a high school student through the Leonard Carmichael Society Volunteer Program, and English grammar at La Amistad, an organization that serves Latino students in the Atlanta area. Additionally, I was a Hebrew teaching assistant at my synagogue's Hebrew school. In high school, I was named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist and valedictorian of my graduating class. I am also a copy editor and opinion writer for my school's newspaper, the Tufts Daily.

While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about chemistry, English and Hebrew. Through my past experience tutoring, I have learned that identifying key areas for growth, adapting to different learning styles, and establishing in students confidence in their intellectual abilities is key to their academic flourishing.
