I received my associates degree in Nursing at Broward College in Florida in 2003. I received my bachelors degree in nursing at Florida Atlantic University in Florida in 2006. Thereafter, I attended medical school in Mexico for 1 year, but did not complete due to my starting a family. I completed my pre-medicine undergraduate courses at University of Texas San Antonio in 2010. I received my masters degree at Chamberlain University for Nurse Practitioner in 2016. I have tutored students throughout my nursing and advanced nursing career to include student nurses, graduate nurses, medical students, student nurse practitioners, and graduate nurse practitioners. My teaching style is a combination of abstract and concrete principles, since I've been exposed to multiple different teacher styles, sometimes at the same time. I have found value in using different approaches to solving a problem separately or in conjunction with each other. Learning in this fashion has allowed me to tackle obstacles from multiple different angles, and therefore helped me to be flexible and well rounded in my decision making.
