Hello! I am currently a rising sophomore student at Brown University studying Applied Math-Computer Science.

I have always been a STEM-oriented student, but I enjoy planning out, writing, and editing essays. Because I am a current student who has had recent exposure to much of the material I am tutoring in, I have a genuine understanding of the ways in which students need support academically. I understand that tutoring is not one-size-fits-all. Some students need a helping hand with homework, some need extra practice, and some need the material re-taught to them. Because of this, I tailor my tutoring sessions to the needs of the student. Before getting into the material, I figure out the student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style and make a lesson plan based on this information.

I received a score of 1550 on the SAT after tutoring sessions, so I am well-versed in the tricks and techniques that boost standardized test scores. Additionally, because I recently went through the college admissions process (with the help of a college advisor), I am well-versed in what makes a strong application and how to tailor college essays to support an application.
