Certified Tutor

I recently graduated from the University at Albany with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Communications. I will apply the skills and knowledge I learned there in my role as your tutor. In addition to my formal education, I spent a year working as a teacher's assistant at The Bronx Community College for the FYS program. I also volunteered at MASA in New York City, where I tutored children between the ages of six to thirteen on a wide range of subjects. In my other job roles, I've done mainly Customer Service related positions. This experience has allowed me to interact with and support children and adults with a range of abilities in their lessons and activities. During this time, I also learned different teaching styles that work best with different types of learners and just different interactive styles in general. As an enthusiastic tutor, I am dedicated to enabling that young minds grow and achieve as well as that mature minds will expand. I am confident my experience and teaching style will make all the difference in your educational journey.
