Certified Tutor
I possess 3 academic degrees: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, MSc degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Finance.
I graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). I was also the third best student in my graduating class.
As an engineering student, I started out helping my two younger siblings with their high school homework in Math, Physics and several science subjects. Their friends quickly joined the study group and I eventually found myself tutoring a group of 6 to 12 graders that quickly grew from 10 to 50 students. As a college senior, I was tutoring a group of two dozen freshmen students College Physics, College Math, and Applied Mechanics.
My approach was to get students to enjoy learning the principles and theorems as it applies to real life situations. I always found this technique effective when I share scenarios where the topics and solutions could be applied in real life.
I also have a Masters degree in Computer Science with specialization in Cognitive Artificial Intelligence. During my graduate school, I was awarded CITGO Graduate Student Award for Academic Excellence. I was also a graduate assistant where I tutored college freshmen and sophomore students Math and Physics. I tutored all the topics in Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Calculus, Mechanics and Fluid.
My overall teaching philosophy is Educational Essentialism. I believe in this traditional subject-centered philosophy where the students mind is trained to digest a series of progressively difficult topics that equips and enables the student to embrace the challenges of attaining the next level of academic and intellectual growth.
I am excited to facilitate this process with students that I tutor as I derive a good amount of satisfaction bringing value to their learning experience.
