Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Brock University where I received my Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Child and Studies and my Bachelor of Education. I have been a member of the Ontario College of Teachers since 2005. While teaching, I have also acquired a specialist in mathematics and participated in countless professional development opportunities in literacy and numeracy. As a primary teacher, I recognize that students need a little extra support and instruction to help them grow as readers and math thinkers. I am passionate about teaching little ones to read and develop a basic foundation in mathematics to give them the skills and confidence they need to succeed in school. I believe that all children deserve to learn in a positive, fun and encouraging environment. They need support and instruction that is specific to their individual learning styles, strengths and needs. I want to help students reach their full potential and give them the skills and confidence they need to reach their goals.
