Certified Tutor

I graduated from McGill University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Political Science. Since graduation, I have worked with elementary school and middle school children as a special needs counsellor in Montreal, Canada. I have also worked at a mental health and wellness centre in Dubai, UAE.

I have worked as an ESL tutor (English as a Second Language) to 10 year-old students in Hong Kong, remotely. I have also worked in private freelance tutoring for middle school and high school level students, teaching English, History, Politics and Psychology. I have a strong passion for education and teaching, and hope to gain more experience and expand my knowledge and skills.

I do not believe in a "one size fits all", I believe in implementing a teaching style that is personalized to each student. This is done by assessing the student's needs, skills, strengths and weaknesses, personality and most importantly, figuring out how the student learns and grasps information.

In my spare time, I volunteer at hospitals and nonprofit organizations. I also enjoy reading, playing basketball and working out.
