Certified Tutor

I am a biology student at the University of Northern British Columbia. I used to be a student that struggled in high school myself. Now I am on my way to becoming a dentist. I have taught younger children at church, worked at Pedalheads, tutored and was an au pair. I have vast experience with many different types and know how to make learning engaging. I tutor mathematics and science but, my favorite subject to teach is mathematics. It is always exciting to see a student's progression in math and I enjoy being a part of that process. My teaching philosophy would be that marks don't define a student but since marks are needed for their future, they should try their very best to do the best that they can. Furthermore, besides academics, I am interested in traveling, music, and painting.
