I have been working in the field of education in some way for the last 15 years. I have previously worked as a site leader for a before ad after school program for kids ages 5-11.I have also worked in the juvenile justice system helping youth to get back on track with their life and reach their goals. I have been working in the public school system for 3 years now as a coach and teacher. I have teaching certifications in both History and Special Education. I attended Missouri State University for my bachelors in Criminology and my teaching certification. I also have my MBA in whichh I received from Baker University.
My passion is in helping students who may be below their grade level work to get closer or even on grade level. I have had the pleasure of being able to help my students with not only reading remediation but also organization and study skills, along with test taking strategies.
I believe that every student is able to learn we as educators have to meet them where they are and adapt material to help them understand the concepts.

Hobbies

I enjoy spending time with my family at the lake. I also enjoy ging to car shows and dirt track racing on the weekend. I have two dogs that I enjy taking for walks and playing with also. I love being outside when it is warm and sunny.
