Hi my name is Lemonica. I graduated with honors from Northwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. After graduating from college, I took the CAT (computer adaptive test) version of the NCLEX and passed it on the first time with 75 questions. For over 20 years I have worked in many areas of nursing, including critical care, med-surg., psych, long-term care and nursing education. I have Comptia CTT+ (Career Technical Training) certification, which has given me great tools And techniques to successfully educate a variety of learners. As a nurse educator I have experience teaching and tutoring RN, LPN and CNA students. I have a passion for the profession of nursing and I equally enjoy teaching it to others.

For those seeking help with the NCLEX, I bring knowledge of exam strategies that work with the Next Generation NCLEX case studies, new NGN questions and traditional questions on this computer adaptive test. Along with strategies, I will assist you in strengthening areas of weakness in both critical thinking skills and clinical judgment decisions. I help you learn how to develop a workable study plan, and learn how to use practice questions and rationales to pass the exam. By staying up to date with the latest test plans and review books, you get tutoring with current information and guidelines. Keep in mind, I have had to take this exam myself and I understand how challenging it is. With my tutoring you are able to confidently answer each test question with reduced anxiety about the test.

Along with NCLEX testers, I also tutor students preparing for the CNA exam. My background in instructing and coordinating a Nurse Aide program has given me great insight into how the CNA state exam works. I am able to prepare you for the written exam and help give you proven techniques for passing the skills portion of the exam.
