I will explain math in plain English and break it down into easy to understand concepts for you. You're intelligent and capable of doing well, you just need some support and encouragement. I promise that you'll leave our tutoring session feeling confident about what you learned, and prepared for your test.
A bit about me: I have been tutoring elementary, middle, and high school students at a math learning center for the past two years. I am currently studying for a masters degree in math education, and my passion is working with students who need a little extra time and/or explanations outside of class to perform their best.
I think math is fun and necessary in most areas of life, but if you don't, that's okay, I can still help you be successful so that you have all options open to you as you begin your college experience or future career.
